  • February 19, 2021 - All About NIH S10 Equipment Grants: Getting Started & Lessons Learned

    NIH S10 shared equipment grants are an important way that Cores acquire new advanced instrumentation. This event will introduce the basics of the S10 mechanism and describe the S10 process from VU/VUMC internal application to post-award. We'll also explore "lessons learned" from experienced core personnel and administrators.

  • November 13, 2020 - Creating Effective Virtual Training Content for Cores Pt. II: Using low-budget resources to create high quality videos.

    The November 13th event theme is “Creating Effective Virtual Training Content for Cores Pt. II: Using low-budget resources to create high quality videos.” This event will expand on the September session to show how cores can use low-budget resources such as camera phones and screen recording to create great new training videos. We look forward to hearing from Drs. Kim Dahlman, Kendra Oliver, and Jenny Schafer as they help us expand our toolboxes. Participants do not need to have attended the first session in order to benefit from the November event.
