Integrity Line (Hotline)

To report unethical, illegal, or unsafe activity at The Medical Center

Compliance violations or unethical conduct may be unintentional and can occur anywhere, at any time. You always have the right to report a potential violation directly to the Compliance Office via the anonymous and confidential Integrity Line (Hotline).

The reporting website and toll free number (866.783.2287) are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You do not have to give your name, although you may be asked to check back to provide additional information or to answer questions.

Reports involving allegations of harassment and / or discrimination should be reported directly to Human Resources, but may also be reported to the Integrity Line (Hotline).

If you have observed a patient care of safety incident, please alert VUMC as soon as possible using the Veritas incident reporting system.  You may also report these concerns via our Integrity Line if you are not sure how to use Veritas.

Did you know?

The Integrity Line and website for confidentially reporting fraud, waste, and abuse was launched in March of 2012.

The Integrity Line allows reporters to file anonymous concerns and to remain anonymous if asked to provide more details.

You do not have to use the Integrity Line to report a compliance concern.  You may contact any VUMC Compliance Officer directly with the same confidentially.  See our contact information here.

VUMC protects anyone who reports a compliance concern from any form of retaliation.  This includes both concerns raised to supervisors, sent to the Compliance Office, or reported via the Integrity Line.
