Academic Psychiatry Day for 2024

We are excited to announce that the 5th annual Academic Psychiatry Day for 2024 will be held on Friday, June 21, at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital!

The theme for this year is Expanding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Psychiatric Research. Our invited panel of speakers will discuss: 1) recruiting diverse trainees and faculty, 2) enhancing inclusion of research participants, and 3) improving equity in dissemination and benefits of psychiatric research.  

Submissions from ALL walks of academic psychiatry are encouraged. These include (but are not limited to) empirical research, case reports, history of psychiatry, and theoretical approaches. Please note that there are no specific formatting requirements for the posters themselves. You are welcome to use previously shown posters or an entirely new one. We have also attached a clinical case report template to help those interested in presenting an interesting case but who may not be familiar with creating a poster presentation.

Lunch and an afternoon treat will be served.

This year we will be supporting poster printing through PosterNerd for all interested presenters affiliated with VUMC Psychiatry (you must have a VUMC email to participate.) 
Presenters will share their high resolution PDF with us to be included in our group order.
Due date: June 1, 2024 Specific details regarding this will be shared by mid-May. 
Size guidelines:  48” x 36” Horizontal orientation
