Radiology Fellowships

Radiology Fellowships

The Department of Radiology offers one-year post-residency fellowship positions in eight subspecialty areas, including body imaging, breast imaging, cardiothoracic radiology, interventional radiology, musculoskeletal radiology, neuroradiology, nuclear radiology and pediatric radiology.

With emphases on Vanderbilt University Medical Center's threefold mission of education, patient care and research, our fellowship programs are designed to provide fellows with the advanced knowledge and technical skills required of each subspecialty area, and to prepare them for leadership positions in specialized practices or clinically-focused academic departments.

Please Note

During virtual interviews this 2023-24 academic year, the residency and fellowship programs at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) want all participants in the interview process to have the best experience possible. We recognize that candidates want to present their best and any type of recording during this process may add undue stress to the process. We would like to agree that neither party (program or candidate) record nor distribute any part of any interview conducted on a virtual platform (e.g., Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Skype, etc.). This includes screenshots, still photos, audio recording, and video recording. Please direct any questions to the program director.
