Medical Student Education

The faculty of the Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences is actively and enthusiastically involved in the teaching of medical students throughout their four years at Vanderbilt. The pivotal and expanding role of Radiology in patient diagnosis and treatment is reflected in the newly revised medical school curriculum, Curriculum 2.0. The variety of available radiology courses has been expanded and students can now take formal radiology classes as early as their second year of medical school.
