The Program Manager provides psychological evaluations for professional clients (non-VUMC) from across the nation. Clients pay for this service which is typically mandated by court, a board, or their employer. The assessments are to determine fitness for work due to behavior problems, addiction, burnout, or boundary issues. This position will market and network to source clients, will conduct assessments, provide documentation back to client or requesting organization; supervise administrative staff, manage office and the program in all aspects.
Key Functions:
- Client Assessment – provide client psychological assessments via behavioral health evaluations; make recommendations based on findings, report and document on findings. Clients can be physicians, RNs, dentists, military, business executives, etc.
- Client Acquisition – create and execute marketing plan and networking opportunities to acquire clientele nationwide.
- Client Resources – provide and maintain community resource contacts. Based on behavioral health assessments, provide recommendations and resources (rehabilitation facilities, workshops).
- Supervise Administrative Assistant – timekeeping, staff scheduling, manage office, oversee ordering, budget oversight, client scheduling.

2) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Research/Inpatient/Outpatient)
The psychiatric nurse practitioner works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team in the Vanderbilt Psychotic Disorders Program (VPDP). The position offers the opportunities to become part of a clinical research team, focused on the early stages of psychosis. Clinical care will be devoted to psychotic patients on the inpatient units and the clinics of the Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital.
