  Matlab 2009a is available as a free upgrade to licensed users through Vanderbilt's Matlab site license.  Release 2009a includes new features in MATLAB and Simulink, and updates and bug fixes to 91 other products.

The ITS Software Store has added CLC bio’s Main Workbench to its storefront.  Main Workbench provides sequence and gene expression analysis along with data management functionality to researchers.  The software is available on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux platforms.   Each license includes:

JMP 7, a statistical discovery software product, has been added to the ITS Software Store’s catalog per request from the Vanderbilt community.  JMP supports Windows and Macs and may be used to dynamically link data with graphics.

The ITS Software Store has added Invitrogen's Vector NTI Advance 11 for Windows (http://www.invitrogen.com/site/us/en/home/LINNEA-Online-Guides/LINNEA-Communities/Vector-NTI-Community/Vector-NTI/what-is-coming.html )  product to its storefront.  Vector NTI offers sequence analysis and data management functionality to researchers.

The ITS Software Store frequently receives requests from the community to add more discounted products to its catalog.

Microsoft has announced it will offer Sharepoint Designer 2007 for free via download from http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint beginning April 1, 2009.

The ITS Software Store has received multiple requests from the Medical Center to add Invitrogen's Vector NTI Advance 11 for Windows product to its storefront.

ITS has begun rolling out an enhancement to its online system (http://its.vanderbilt.edu/softwarestore) for purchasing software.
