Endnote X3 for Windows and Macintosh has been released and is available through the Software Store. The Software Store has issued free downloads to customers who have pre-purchased X3.

Matlab R2009b is available as a free download through the Software Store to current subscribers. Those with active subscriptions may access the download by logging into their Software Store account and clicking on “My Software”.

Windows 7 Professional Upgrade and Windows Server 2008 R2 (Standard, Enterprise, and Data Center) are now available for sale to departments through the ITS Software Store.

McAfee VirusScan 8.7i for Windows is now available as a free download through the ITS Software Store. Release 8.7i supports Windows XP, Vista, and 7. In addition, the free McAfee VirusScan for Mac product in the Software Store has been updated to include a download for McAfee Security for Mac 1.0.

Vanderbilt’s KMS service has been upgraded to support Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 Server client activation requests. Rebooting a networked Windows 7 or Windows 2008 R2 client should enable the client to automatically activate through the new service. Vanderbilt’s SPSS contract has been finalized.

Phoenix Integration’s ModelCenter 8 software has been added to the ITS Software Store’s product catalog per request by the campus community. ModelCenter Standard Desktop (Academic) includes: •RSM Toolkit •Analysis Server •Monte Carlo Risk Analysis •Design of Experiments •Geometry Viewer •Base plug-in libraries: Excel, Matlab, Mathcd •Modeling and Simulation Tools: Flames, STK, Extend •Costing Tools: PRICE, SEER, ACEIT •CADFusion Pak The software may be installed for free on Vanderbilt and student-owned computers.
