As a result of moving to Workday, you'll need to make some adjustments in the way you enter your payment information in the Software Store. The table below will assist with making this change. Use the following Workday Work Tags for the respective funding sources in the table.

Non-Credit Card Funding Source	What to enter in the Software Store
Grant	Grant Work Tag
Gift	Gift Work Tag
Project	Project Work Tag
Program	Program Work Tag
Not a Grant, Gift, Project or Program	Cost Center Work Tag

If you need to tag a Work Tag with an Assignee ID for a Software Store transaction, enter the Assignee ID when prompted during the ordering process.

If you have a legacy cost center and need to know the Workday Work Tag that it maps to, use the Cost Center Translator to find the mapping.

If you do not know the Work Tag you should use, contact your department's finance team. They can also provide the name of the Cost Center Manager or Grant Manager who can approve your Software Store order.

Starting Nov. 5, 2022, Zoom will enforce it's new Lifecycle Policy. Under the policy, users who run an end-of-life version of any Zoom product or service, including Zoom Client, will not be able to join meetings via the Zoom Client. Users have two options:

Update to the current version of the Zoom Client
Join the meeting from a web browser instead of the Zoom Client

To download the current version of Zoom Client, sign into the Zoom Client, click your initials in the upper right corner, and click Check for Updates.

To download the current Zoom Client, go to zoom.us, click Resources, and click Download Zoom Client.

CVE-2021-44228 is a remote code execution vulnerability in Apache Log4j.

SAS 9.4 is vulnerable to CVE-2021-44228.

VUMC IT applied the necessary Security Update to address the Log4j vulnerability on the server.

End users access the SAS server through SAS Enterprise Guide, the PC interface, and through SAS Studio, the web interface. Enterprise Guide is not Java based and is not vulnerable to CVE-2021-44228.

PC users may also install SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office and SAS Management Console. SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office allows you to use SAS features directly from Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. SAS Management Console lets you schedule jobs through OAS. SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is not vulnerable to CVE-2-21-44228.

Tableau Software, LLC has released a product update for all impacted versions of Tableau products to address the Apache Log4j2 security vulnerabilities in CVE-2021-44228 and CVE-2021-45046.

Tableau recommends updating to the newest Tableau product release as soon as possible.

Microsoft's Home Use Program allows VUMC employees to receive a 30% discount for Microsoft 365 Personal (originally $69.99) or Microsoft 365 Family (originally $99.99).

From April 23, 2021 through June 16, 2021, receive a 50% discount for the first 12 months. After 12 months, the discount reverts to 30%.
