It's time to Go for the Gold! All 3 Steps of the award-winning Go for the Gold program are now available for 2023!
A wellness credit of up to $240 per year is available to faculty and staff who complete all 3 Steps by October 31 and are paying for VUMC Health Plan benefits in 2024.

Interested in setting a wellness goal? Health Plus provides lifestyle coaching to faculty/staff or spouses at no cost. The purpose of lifestyle coaching is to support Vanderbilt faculty/staff or spouses who are interested in losing weight, getting physically active, quitting smoking, eating better, or lowering stress.

Control is the Goal
Control is the Goal is a blood pressure management program available to Vanderbilt faculty and staff who have high blood pressure (hypertension) or are at high risk for developing high blood pressure. Control is the Goal promotes and encourages healthy choices that can help with blood pressure control.

Know Your Numbers
Participate in Know Your Numbers to measure and monitor blood pressure, weight, and body mass index. These numbers can be used on your yearly Health Risk Assessment and Wellness Actions Log for the Go for the Gold program.

Health Plus offers Mindful Stretch Breaks where faculty and staff can join in guided stretching and breathing to feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and renewed! This service is offered virtually at both drop-in times and as a scheduled appointment.

Diabetes Prevention Program
The Diabetes Prevention Program is proven to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. The focus is on developing skills to lose weight, be more physically active, and manage stress. Participants meet regularly in a group setting with a trained lifestyle coach.
