Join Health Plus for the much anticipated Pumpkin Carving Contest at the Vanderbilt Farmers' Market! Carve or decorate a pumpkin with others in your department and bring it to the Market on Thursday, October 31 for voting.
How it works:
- Register your department by 5pm Friday, October 25th
- Offsite and hybrid locations are encouraged to participate! Submit a picture of your pumpkin display to health.plus@vumc.org by 11:59pm. Wednesday, October 30th with the subject line "Pumpkin Carving Contest". Photos will be displayed alongside in-person submissions.
- Each department may enter one pumpkin display.
- Pumpkins can be carved, painted, or decorated.
- Use of candles requiring flames is prohibited.
- Winners will be announced to participating departments Monday, November 4th, and will be announced to the public in MyVUMC at a later date. .
Voting: Pumpkin displays will be voted on by the public in two ways: at the Vanderbilt Farmers' Market and the on the VUMC Health & Wellness Instagram (@WellVanderbilt).

Prizes: The VUMC department pumpkin display with the most votes in each category will receive recognition in the MyVUMC newsletter and on the VUMC Health & Wellness Instagram page (@WellVanderbilt). The winner of the VUMC 2024 Crowd favorite will receive recognition, a trophy, and a special treat for your team delivered by Health Plus to your department!
