You deserve a break! Health Plus offers Mindful Stretch Breaks where VUMC faculty and staff can join in guided stretching and breathing to feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and renewed!

Three Mindful Stretch Breaks to choose from:

1. Weekly Virtual Pop-in Mindful Stretch Break

Drop-in for a quick break every Wednesday via Teams. Join any virtual session HERE Wednesdays 11:00am-11:30am.

Find yourself retuning back each week? Join the Mindful Stretch Break Teams Channel and receive the calendar invites directly to your outlook calendar each month.

2. Departmental in-person or virtual Mindful Stretch Break

Schedule a break in-person at your Department, or digitally via Teams, at a time that works for your group! Schedule your Mindful Stretch Break now!

How to Earn Credit Towards Go for the Gold

To earn credit towards this action in Go for the Gold, you will need to complete TWO Mindful Stretch Breaks between 11/01/2023 and 10/31/2024. Any combination of the following formats will complete this action:

  • Completing any TWO in-person or virtual Mindful Stretch Breaks (weekly drop-in or departmental)
  • Completing any TWO of the three Mindful Strech Break videos
  • Completing ONE in-person AND ONE of the three Mindful Stretch Break videos
