Get your flu shot - The Student Health Center will offer the flu vaccine beginning Monday, Sept. 1.
Once available, walk in between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. with no appointment needed. We will also offer "After Hours Flu Shot Clinics"on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 27 from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
There is no cost for the flu shot. Bring your Student ID and wear short sleeves.
We will offer Fluarix - standard dose, trivalent inactivated vaccine (TIV) for individuals 6 months to 64 years of age. This vaccine is preservative-free. People with an egg allergy CAN receive this vaccine, as egg allergy is not a contraindication to Fluarix.
Cover your mouth and nose. When you are with others or alone, cough or sneeze with a disposable tissue or into your sleeve.
Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Don't share silverware, dishes cups and glasses with anybody else.
Mask up if you have flu-like symptoms (cough, sore throat, fever, chills, headache, runny or stuffy nose, soreness & aching in back, arms or legs).
If you have a fever or flu-like symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with the flu or COVID-19, visit us at the Student Health Center. As always, please put on a mask when arriving at the SHC.
