Beat Perception as a Building Block of Social Engagement and its Disruption in Autism (Marcus Autism Center, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta)

This study examines the role of beat and rhythm perception in the scaffolding of visual engagement in social and non- social contexts. This project uses novel eye-tracking paradigms to measure attentional entrainment in typically developing infants/toddlers and those with autism.
