New studies on parent-child play and music-based parenting programs for families of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers!

  • Help us learn about how infants and their caregivers sing and play together! Infants (5-6 months) and their caregiver are invited to participate in play sessions at Vanderbilt involving toys, stories, and/or songs. Caregivers complete study survey.   • Help us learn about how preschoolers and their caregivers play together! Preschoolers (3-5 years old) and their caregiver are invited to participate in play sessions at Vanderbilt involving toys, stories, art and/or songs. Caregivers complete study survey.   • We invite parents/caregivers and their infant (~6-12 months old) to participate in a music class/parent education opportunity.  Participants will be asked to complete surveys about themselves and their child, participate in ~8 weekly music activity sessions, and complete study tasks at home or at Vanderbilt. Participants must have primarily English language exposure and receive compensation of up to $100 in gift cards.

  • We invite parents/caregivers and their child (2-4 years old) to participate in a music class/parent training opportunity. Participants will be asked to complete surveys about themselves and their child, participate in ~8 weekly music activity sessions, and complete study tasks at home or at Vanderbilt. Participants must have primarily English language exposure and receive compensation of up to $100 in gift cards.
