The Mindfulness Skills for Stress Reduction for Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities study is a telehealth study opportunity for parents of children with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Parents participate in a ~8-week telehealth mindfulness study to reduce stress and promote well-being. Participants will complete questionnaires and an interview about themselves and their child, attend weekly one-hour remote sessions.

Participants are compensated up to $150 for participation and receive mindfulness recordings and materials. There are also opportunities to participate in individual mindfulness and music sessions with a board-certified music therapist. Please contact socialmusicresearch@vumc.org or call/text 615-873-0852 for more information.
