Neuroscience and Medicine, Health, and Society Major

Foster Johnson is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Vanderbilt from Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, and she is double majoring in Neuroscience and Medicine, Health, and Society. She is working with Kelly Corcoran and Dr. Gordon to uncover connections between musicality and health, as well as pilot new approaches for conducting music-related research in clinical environments. In her free time, Foster enjoys playing piano, embroidering, and baking. She’s also currently training for the Nashville Rock ’n Roll marathon next spring. In the future, Foster hopes to attend medical school and find new ways to combine her passions for science and music.
