KindnessKids' album "Join in the Song!",  is a unique venture at the intersection of music and child development research.

Based on research that suggests that moving together to music increases trust and feelings of affiliation, the album features songs about kindness to self, others, animals, and the earth--- and does it in a groovy way to get kids moving together!

The project was spearheaded by Sara Beck and Colleen Russo, both PhD candidates at Vanderbilt's Peabody College. They received a grant from the Vanderbilt Curb Center for Arts, Enterprise, and Public Policy to design this album and record these tunes.
