Platform Support Update for MATLAB
Mathworks, maker of MATLAB, is dropping support for the following platforms:
Debian 9: Support ends with R2021a
macOS Majave (10.14): Support is scheduled to end as of R2021b
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS: Support is scheduled to end as of R2021b
Windows 7: Support is scheduled to end as of R2022a
Note: Mathworks releases two versions of its products each year. RXXXXa arrives each spring. RXXXXb arrives each fall. R stands for release. XXXX represents the four-digit year.
MATLAB Academy
The VUMC Software Store offers a campus-wide license for MATLAB, Simulink, and companion products.
VUMC IT recovers cost each year by billing departments based on usage.

The VUMC Software Store offers a campus-wide license for MATLAB, Simulink, and companion products. The annual cost for the site license is spread equally across the departments that use the software. VUMC IT will include the annual charge in its April 2019 billing.

The latest versions of MATLAB and Simulink and other MathWorks products are available to support coursework and research.
Vanderbilt University Medical Center offers a campus-wide license to MATLAB, Simulink, and companion products. All faculty, researchers, and students are eligible to download and install these products on their Medical Center computers as well as their personally-owned computers.
