Students are eligible to download Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac for free through the Vanderbilt Software Store!  Go to http://softwarestore.vanderbilt.edu and click on “Office for Mac” under “Special Deals”. Office 2011 is expected to become available through Microsoft’s Home Use and Student Select Programs on October 26, 2010.  The Home Use Program enables employees to buy Office for work related use on a home computer for just $9.95.  Student Select can be used by employees and students to buy Office at discount for personal use.

Departments, employees and students may purchase one year subscriptions to Adobe Creative Suite Master Library through the Vanderbilt Software Store.   Each subscription provides access to more than 50 titles and more than 300 hours of training and tutorials.  The training may be used to develop skills in Adobe Acrobat, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Soundbooth, and more.  Subscriptions may be purchased for a single user, or up to 10, 25, or 50 users. Vanderbilt has entered into a JMP site license with SAS Institute. JMP software may be used for data analysis and visualization. The site license enables students and faculty to use JMP for teaching, learning, and research. Licenses are subscription based, may be purchased for Windows 32-bit and Macintosh operating systems, and cost $50 per desktop.
