I began my nursing career at the bedside and truly loved making personal connections with patients and families. I found myself diving into nursing education and loving this area of nursing. I came to VUMC from New Orleans, LA where I worked as a Nursing Educator in Ambulatory and was thrilled to continue to grow my ambulatory knowledge at VUMC.
The best part of being a nurse leader at VUMC – Adult Ambulatory Clinics is getting to work with amazing staff from different walks of life, who come from different areas of the country with diverse backgrounds. Growing and learning from one another makes our profession stronger, and I am honored to work at a nationally renowned health system like VUMC.
