Associate Nursing Officer
Adult Ambulatory Clinics

I started my leadership career with VUMC in Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital. I relocated multiple times due to my husband's career opportunities and then mine in hospital nursing and operations. I worked in for-profit hospitals in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee before coming "back home" to Nashville and Vanderbilt. Since returning in 2015, I have been in the adult in-patient hospital (VUH) and am looking forward to learning about the ambulatory world. I love nursing leadership and have had many great mentors in my past that helped me in my different roles as a house supervisor, director, CNO, COO and CEO in different community hospitals. I have earned my DNP at Vanderbilt (I am a triple 'Dore) and am very excited to use my skills in the ANO role within the Adult Ambulatory Clinics. I am very honored to be working with the ambulatory team, and the energy is palpable!

The best part of being a Nurse Leader is the opportunity to connect with so many diverse people as patients and staff. The backgrounds and experiences add knowledge that allows me to grow as a person and a leader.
