Manager, Patient Care Services
Psychiatric Assessment Service
Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital

Patient care comes first for me, always. I’m a nurse leader focused on humanizing healthcare through strong leadership, elevated clinical reasoning, and specialized psychiatric care. I currently serve as Nurse Manager for Psychiatric Assessment Services at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital, where I work to help patients get the right care faster by improving flow, decreasing ED wait times, strengthening team communication, and improving the overall patient experience. I’ve also served in various leadership roles and chaired Vanderbilt system-wide committees like Nursing Leadership Development and Nursing Respect and Belonging, with the goal of supporting nurses so they can take great care of patients. I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse (PMH-BC) and earned my Master’s in Nursing Health Systems Administration and Leadership from UAB, building on my BSN from the University of Utah. Outside of work, I enjoy community outreach, and coaching soccer, and my biggest joy is being a husband and father.
