I am a Nashville native who has been privileged to serve patients and families through nursing for more than two decades. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee in 2000 and later completed my post-graduate Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through Maryville University.
I began my nursing career in medical-surgical and critical care nursing, where I developed a strong clinical foundation. In 2015, I transitioned to psychiatric nursing and discovered a true passion for supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
As the spouse of a United States Marine, I have had the opportunity to work as a registered nurse in healthcare organizations across the country. Those experiences have provided me with a broad perspective on nursing practice, leadership, and patient care. I can confidently say that Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital is the best organization in which I have worked. The opportunities for education, professional development, and career advancement are truly limitless.
