Center of Excellence for Children in State Custody releases 12-week "Roots of Resiliency" series

The Vanderbilt Center of Excellence for Children in State Custody (COE) launched a 12-week series, titled "Roots of Resiliency," in partnership with Tennessee Department of Children's Services in response to a request from Tennessee Governor Bill Lee's office to provide support for families across the state during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The weekly series is hosted by COE psychologists, including COE clinical director and assistant professor of Clinical Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences Tarah Kuhn, Ph.D. and COE director and associate professor of Clinical Psychiatry &  Behavioral Sciences Jon Ebert, Psy.D. Kuhn and Ebert invite other experts in the field of parenting, wellness, and mental health with the goal of sharing knowledge and answering questions for the community related to various topics that families are managing during these stressful times.

This series has reached more than 1,400 parents, caregivers, and professionals across the state.  The series wraps up July 2.
