SANIYA S. GODIL, MD, was raised in Pakistan and graduated from Aga Khan Medical College in 2010. After graduation, she did a 3-year postdoctoral research in the Spinal Outcomes lab at Vanderbilt University focusing on patient reported outcomes after spine surgery and cost effectiveness of medical vs. surgical management for degenerative spine disease.
Outside work, Saniya enjoys travelling, reading non-fiction and painting.
