Alexander Lyons

Alex Lyons MD, grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and Logan, Utah, before attending Utah State University. While there, he earned a degree in Biochemistry, served as a senator for the college, and competed on the track and field team. Prior to medical school, he worked at a biotechnology startup developing novel CRISPR therapeutics. At Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, his research focused on pediatric oncology, adult spinal deformity, and deep brain stimulation. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, wakeboarding, running, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog.
