Hansen Bow, MD

BowHansen Bow, MD, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. He then received Masters and PhD degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he also majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His research at MIT involved the manufacturing and testing of microchips that analyzed biological material. He subsequently received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he won the Harold Strong Denison Research Scholar Award and the Harvey Cushing Medical Student Research Award for research involving drug delivery and brain cancer. In his spare time, he enjoys reading non-fiction, riding his road bike, and writing computer software.
