Overview
The Application Platform Services team administers RStudio Team from Posit. This platform will provide and environment for Data Scientists to build R and Python applications and share with others inside and outside if VUMC. The services provided include the following:
- Provision a workspace to develop and run applications
- Publish applications internally or external to VUMC
- Provide version control for code and R libraries
- Manage resources like disk, CPU, and memory
- Assist with monitoring and other operational support activities
How Can I Get It?
Access to the platform requires purchasing a license from the Software Store. Search for "Workbench" and "Connect" in the store. Licensing Workbench provides a development and runtime environment. Licensing Connect provides capability to publish applications for other named users to consume. Once the license has been purchased, the APS team will contact you to grant access and provide onboarding instructions. To learn more about the platform, contact vumc.it.aps@vumc.org.
