Overview
VUMC IT administers an application integration platform service for departments that require testing environments which combine data from multiple sources. The goal of complex event processing is to identify meaningful events (such as opportunities or threats) and respond to them as quickly as possible both during testing and production.
We utilize TIBCO Business Works (BW) and an Enterprise Messaging Service (EMS) along with the applicable Complex Event Processing Platform (CEP) which is comprised of TIBCO Business Events (BE) and Spotfire. Services provided include the following:
- Create new Business Works or Business Events applications
- Deploy applications
- Create TIBCO Enterprise Systems Monitoring objects (queues, topics, users, bridges)
How can I get it?
- To request a new BW or BE application, submit a Pegasus Ticket for a TIBCO NEW APP OR INITIAL DEPLOYMENT REQUEST. Depending on the situation, it may require entering aPlanview Request .
- Deployments to non-production (testing) environments are scripted to allow developers to deploy at will. To request a production deployment, submit a Pegasus Ticket for TIBCO BW DEPLOYMENT REQUEST or a Pegasus Ticket for TIBCO BE DEPLOYMENT REQUEST.
