Poster Session 2 Presenters:
Navigating Today's Zoom Poster Session Breakout Rooms:
We will be utilizing Zoom Breakout rooms which will allow us to split the Zoom meeting to accommodate the many multiple separate sessions for each poster and presenter. When they are deployed by the meeting host, each breakout room will be titled with the name of the presenter and the beginning part of the name of the poster. You will need a desktop or mobile app (version 5.3.0 or higher) in order to utilize all the features of breakout rooms. If you run into problems selecting your rooms, click Ask for Help, it will notify the meeting host that you need assistance and they will be asked to join your breakout room.
You can leave the breakout room and either switch to a different room, return to the main meeting session or you can leave the meeting entirely from the breakout room.
- Presenters: When the pop-up screen deploys signaling the opening of the breakout rooms, please make your way to your own named breakout room promptly. You will need to self-select the room with your name. Once there, please share your PowerPoint slide using the “Share Screen” option.
- Attendees: You will be allowed to self-select any breakout rooms you find appealing. The breakout rooms will be listed by presenter name. You can visit as many rooms as you choose in the time allotted.
- All: at 2 minutes before the end of the session a countdown timer will alert you that the poster session is coming to an end and the rooms will be closing.
