Robert Cronin, MD, MS

Dr. Cronin is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science at Cornell University, attended medical school at The Ohio State University, completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and pursued his M.S. in Biomedical Informatics as a National Library of Medicine fellow at Vanderbilt.

Dr. Cronin is a board-certified Clinical Informatician, Internist, and Pediatrician.  He is a member of the editorial board of the Applied Clinical Informatics journal and a member of the Clinical Competency Committee for the Clinical Informatics Fellowship at Vanderbilt. He has a career development award from the NIH to develop and evaluate informatics solutions for individuals with sickle cell disease and plays a significant role in the development and evaluation of participant provided information in the All of Us precision medicine research program.
