Introduction

Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) is the HL7's modern standard for exchanging health data. In the video below, Ye Wang (Staff Scientist at the US National Library of Medicine), gives an overview of what FHIR is, introduces the FHIR Questionnaire and QuestionnaireResponse resources, and explains structured data capture (SDC) implementation guides for them.

In the video below, Mr. Wang demonstrates use of tools for Unified Code for Units of Measure (UCUM) as well as Research Data Finder (RDF). He also describes some other general-purpose tools used broadly across FHIR that are also worth knowing about.
