Kelsey Kent, PhD, PMHNP
Kelsey Kent is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who completed an MSN from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, as well as a PhD from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Prior to joining VUMC she has experience serving patients in community health and at the Veterans Health Administration, as well as teaching PMHNP students in both clinic and classroom settings. She specializes in the treatment of co-occurring PTSD, anxiety, and gastrointestinal disease. Her research interests focus on the gut-brain connection and the relationship between trauma and GI symptoms.
