Jessica Bailey-DeBlois, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CNRN

Jessica Bailey-DeBlois, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CNRN, is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in general neurology, stroke follow-up care, and cognitive and behavioral neurology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She manages patients with a broad range of neurologic conditions through outpatient neurology clinics. Ms. Bailey-DeBlois is committed to providing patient-centered neurologic care and emphasizes shared decision-making, patient education, and clear communication with patients and families. She also performs botulinum toxin injections for chronic migraine treatment.

Prior to joining Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Ms. Bailey-DeBlois practiced in a high-volume general neurology clinic in Connecticut, serving as an independent clinician managing new consultations, hospital follow-up visits, and ongoing neurologic care. Her practice included the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide variety of neurologic conditions as well as procedural expertise in botulinum toxin injections, cranial nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.

Ms. Bailey-DeBlois has more than fifteen years of neuroscience experience. Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, she worked in multiple nursing roles at a level one trauma center including trauma, stroke, neurosurgery, neuroscience and case management. She provided care for patients with acute neurologic disease and collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, improve patient outcomes, and enhance access to specialty services.

In addition to her clinical work, Ms. Bailey-DeBlois has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership, education, and advanced practice provider development. She helped develop a healthcare system-wide advanced practice provider onboarding program that contributed to the establishment of a nationally recognized APP fellowship. She has also participated in nursing and advanced practice education and served as a mentor, preceptor, and clinical instructor. Her honors include the Hartford HealthCare Medical Group APP Team of the Year Award, Hartford Hospital Clinical Team of the Year Award, and the Rising Star in Stroke Nursing Award.

Ms. Bailey-DeBlois earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and as a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse by the American Board of Neuroscience Nurses.
