Department of Neurology IntranetThe Department of Neurology QI and Patient Safety Committee is focused on continuously enhancing and improving the quality, safety, and value of healthcare delivery within our department. The committee is charged to discuss and identify areas for improvement regarding processes, patient safety and education, and implement those improvements through quality improvement projects and process changes in conjunction with our neurology operations team, department leadership and hospital leadership.
The committee meets monthly to review and discuss various QI and Patient Safety Initiatives.
Clinical Practice Guides
The Department of Neurology Quality and Patient Safety Committee has gathered a comprehensive list of useful clinical practice guides to ensure best medical practices are followed. These guides are the result of multidisciplinary collaboration between providers and based on evidence at the time of publication. This is meant to serve only as a guide and clinical judgement should be used for review of every case when applying these recommendations.
