Attend the Cyber Security Town Hall
October is Cyber Security Awareness Month. The VUMC IT Cyber Security Town Hall on Oct. 5 in Light Hall (Room 208) from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. will include many topics you can use to stop cyber threats both personally and at work.
Agenda items include:
- A definition of cybersecurity
- VUMC's philosophy about cybersecurity
- A definition of the Internet Attacker and how they work
- What you can do to stop an attack
Speakers will include John Lutz, VUMC IT Chief Information Officer and Dr. John Manning, Chief Operating Officer and Corporate Chief of Staff of the Medical Center.
Arrive early and attend the 90-minute session to get plenty of information about the current state of cybersecurity. Also, continue to visit the VUMC IT blog for stories on cybersecurity during Cyber Security month.
