Occasionally, departments at VUMC need to deploy, configure, maintain, or decommission an open virtual appliance provided by a software manufacturer, or a virtual server that will be managed by the department or a third-party vendor. The customer is responsible for providing the Open Virtual Appliances (OVA) or VMDK files for these OVA/co-location servers. These appliances must go through the VUMC IT Governance process for review.
How can I get it?
These inquiries are handled on a request-by-request basis and sometimes require the assistance of a Customer Relationship Manager. The deployment of resources for an open virtual appliance/co-located server(s) is typically initiated by creating a PlanView project. If you or someone in your department does not have PlanView access, submit a Pegasus Ticket to begin the process.
