While the match between a client and a behavioral health provider is critical to a successful outcome, there is no single list that can easily guide you to the right provider. There are many behavioral health specialties in areas such as trauma, serious mental illness, medication, child and adolescent issues, wellness coaching, working with couples, issues unique to older adults, psychological testing, addictions, and dealing with various diagnoses. Furthermore, some providers will see clients in their offices and many more are seeing clients virtually.
