The Faculty/Staff Express Care offers services for minor infections such as colds, sinus infections, sore throat, bronchitis, and ear infections for all Vanderbilt employees. You must have your Vanderbilt faculty/staff ID to get in the clinic. For minor health problems outside the list above, you can obtain a consultation in the main Occupational Health Clinic in Suite 640, Medical Arts. If your medical problem is urgent in nature and you cannot get in to see your Primary Care Provider (PCP), then it would be best to go to the Emergency Room.
We do encourage you to see your PCP for your healthcare whenever possible. After being seen in our clinic, you should follow up with your PCP.
Vanderbilt employees and their family members can call the VUMD line to obtain a PCP, find non-urgent care or book specialty appointments for first-time patients. The VUMD phone number is: 615-343-VUMD (8863), or 3-8863 on campus.
My Health At Vanderbilt will give you all of the instructions for signing up or accessing your medical record. This service also allows you to communicate electronically with your provider using secure messaging.
