The Department of Radiology this week named third-year residents Cara Connolly, M.D., and LeAnn Shannon, M.D., chief residents for the Class of 2020.  Nominated by their fellow residents, Connolly and Shannon will take on their new roles within the residency program following completion of their American Board of Radiology Core exams in June.

Attended by faculty, staff and trainees in the Children’s Theatre at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, the event recognized the contributions of colleagues who regularly go above and beyond to uphold the Medical Center’s Credo and Patient Promise.
