The Department of Radiology has announced Reza Imani-Shikhabadi, MD, MS, Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology, as Associate Program Director for the Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency Program.

LeAnn Stokes, MD, Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology, has been appointed Section Chief of Interventional Radiology in the Department of Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Laveil Allen, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology, has been named Chief of the Department of Radiology’s new Emergency Radiology section.

Larry (Taylor) Davis, MD, Assistant Professor of Radiology and Neurology, has been named section chief of Neuroradiology.

The Department of Radiology this month announced the promotion of Limin Chen, MD, PhD, to Tenured Professor of Radiology.

Vanderbilt Radiology faculty and trainees recently participated in the Radiological Society of North America’s 105th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting. A total of 10 Vanderbilt Radiology faculty and trainees were among those to present an educational exhibit or presentation at the meeting.

Jessica B. Robbins, MD, Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, will present the Jan. 12, 2021 Radiology Grand Rounds lecture, "Social and Emotional Intelligence in Radiology."

Jennifer Huang, MD, MEd, second-year diagnostic radiology resident, recently participated in the 2020 Introduction to Academic Radiology (ITAR) program as part of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2020 Annual Meeting.

The Department of Radiology, in partnership with Mark III Systems, Dell EMC and NVIDIA, recently hosted its inaugural Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning Educational Series highlighting current AI trends in medical imaging.
