Kristin O'Grady Receives Secondary Appointment in Biomedical Engineering

Kristin O'Grady, PhD, Assistant Professor of Radiology & Radiological Sciences, has received a secondary appointment as an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering. Dr. O'Grady obtained her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt in 2015 under the mentorship of Craig Duvall, PhD, and Melissa Skala, PhD.

Asha Sarma Selected for AUR/APDR Radiology Career Advancement Lectureship Program

Asha Sarma, MD, Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, has been selected to participate in the AUR/APDR Radiology Career Advancement Lectureship Program (RCALP). This program gives early and mid-career faculty a chance to build their academic careers by delivering a national level talk under the guidance and mentorship of nationally recognized radiology educators. The program aims to increase the visibility of the selected individual on a national level and to facilitate networking with colleagues at other institutions.

David Cline Joins as Associate Professor

The Department of Radiology is excited to welcome David Cline, MD, MPA as an Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, in our Breast Imaging Section. A highly decorated military veteran and educator, Dr. Cline served the United States for many years while deployed overseas. He joined the US Navy in 1981 and retired in 2019 with the rank of Navy Captain O6.

Nicholson Chadwick Receives Secondary Appointment in Biomedical Engineering

Nicholson S. Chadwick, MD, Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, has received a secondary appointment as Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering. Over the last year, Dr. Chadwick has been collaborating with the School of Engineering through mentorship, lecturing and research endeavors.

The Department of Radiology is excited to welcome Adonteng Kwakye, MD, as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences. Dr. Kwakye joins us from New York, where he recently completed an Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Laura Heyneman Joins as Professor

The Department of Radiology is excited to welcome Laura Heyneman, MD, as a Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences. Dr. Heyneman joins us from Duke, where she spent the last seven years.
