Vanderbilt Clinical Trials Radiology Support Core launched

Vanderbilt’s Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences has launched the Vanderbilt Clinical Trials Radiology Support Core.
The core will provide broad administrative support services for imaging performed within Vanderbilt clinical trials. It has been developed in close collaboration with the Office of Research and the Clinical Trials Billing Compliance office.
Damon to lead Chemical and Physical Biology grad program

Bruce Damon, Ph.D., has been named director of Vanderbilt University’s Chemical and Physical Biology (CPB) graduate program, which prepares students for “cutting-edge” research careers at the interface of the chemical sciences, physical sciences and biology.
Damon, associate professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, Molecular Physiology and Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering, succeeds Hassane Mchaourab, Ph.D., who founded the program with Albert Beth, Ph.D., in 2007.
Dr. Aravind Arepally, Internationally Renowned Interventional Radiologist, Named Adjunct Professor of Radiology

We are thrilled to welcome Aravind Arepally, M.D. as an Adjunct Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University. In his new role, Dr. Arepally will apply his vast experience with medical devices, FDA regulation, and entrepreneurship to help foster innovation for our Vanderbilt trainees and faculty.
