VUMC Radiology Associate Professor Kim Sandler, MD, recently wrote about the importance of lung cancer screening for ACR's Voice of Radiology Blog ahead of National Lung Cancer Screening Day on November 11.

Congratulations to Erin Cooke, MD, Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program Director and Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, for being accepted into the 2023-2024 SCARD-GE Healthcare Leading Empowering and Disrupting (LEAD) Program. This program, a joint project by SCARD and GE Healthcare, is a one-year women’s leadership program comprised of 20 female leaders from across the field of radiology. The goal is to increase the number of women in leadership positions, building a network of women across radiology and the industry.

NASHVILLE – The SALT Lab and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) will soon be home to one of the first-ever biorepositories focused on lipedema research thanks to a new grant from the Lipedema Foundation.
