Avni Cirpili, DNP, RN, NEA-BC Chief Nursing Officer Vanderbilt Behavioral Health
Avni Cirpili is the Chief Nursing Officer of Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital and Vanderbilt Behavioral Health. With over 35 years of experience in nursing and healthcare leadership, Avni holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Major responsibilities include all aspects of healthcare leadership including employee engagement, finance, patient care quality, and regulatory compliance. Avni has been a Chief Nursing Officer at the Menninger Clinic and the Ohio State University Harding Hospital. He is also active in the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) as the co-chair of the Administrative Council and co-authored the APNA position paper on nurse staffing of inpatient psychiatric units.
Lori Harris, BSN, RN-BC
Manager, VPH Adult Units
Lori is the manager of the VPH Adult Units. She has been with Vanderbilt for 20 years, 15 of which has been in the manager role. Lori is board certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing.
Johnny Woodard, MSN, RN-BC
Manager, Patient Care Services
Johnny serves as the nurse educator for VPH with primary responsibilities in the orientation of new staff and ensuring annual competencies are maintained. Additionally, Johnny provides staff with education pertaining to his other roles as infection control nurse, Occupational Health Liaison, VPHs patient advocate and safety manager, and as security administrator.
Laura Lawson Webb, MSN, RN-BC
Laura is the manager of the Child and Adolescent unit and Float Pool. She started her career as a mental health specialist and has been dedicated to VPH for over 20 years. Laura is a board certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing.
