Samuel Jean-Baptiste, MD is currently a resident physician in the Radiation Oncology Department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed his BS in Mathematics at Emory University and his MD at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.  In his prior life in the realm of applied mathematics, he was involved in mathematical modeling, computational analysis, and building integrated web-based platform to manage and analyze pathology and digital imaging data. Additionally, he completed a year-long pre-doctoral Cancer and Radiation Biology research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Broadly, he is interested in informatics engineering to improve oncologic clinical decision making and treatment delivery, reduce toxicity with cancer treatment and inform research.
