Surgical Quality & Patient Safety

The Office of Surgical Quality & Patient Safety assists with any related quality and safety issues or topics of surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Examples of available services include location and extraction of data, planning, data summary and analysis, implementation, evaluation, and communication methods. Also identification of other institutional resources, bench-marking studies, statistical analysis of outcomes or processes, and design, implementation, and assessment of small scale related projects. Medical center staff with concerns are also encouraged to contact quality with questions.
