Brief Bio

Dr. Kim received her Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi in 2013 after completing an APA accredited clinical internship at the Charlie Norwood VAMC and Medical College of Georgia consortium. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in interprofessional healthcare at the Alvin C. York VAMC of the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System in 2014. Then, she joined the staff as a clinical psychologist in the posttraumatic stress disorders program. She accepted the pain psychologist position in 2015 and received her board certification in behavioral and cognitive psychology during the same year. Dr. Kim is currently based on the Nashville campus offering cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) as well as complementary interventions such as mindfulness training, yoga, and biofeedback.
