Dr. Lauren Corona, MD, serves as the site principal investigator for the established Sex Development & Maturation Registry (SDM-R) based at University of Glasgow in Scotland, UK. This study contributes clinical and diagnostic data to an international longitudinal registry focused on differences of sex development (DSD). Because these conditions are rare and understudied, VUMC joins top global researchers to build a comprehensive dataset that supports advanced research, enhances clinical understanding, and ultimately improves long-term management and outcomes for patients with DSD.
